Stakeholder Engagement Part II: Using Effective Communication Techniques To Gain Buy In

Some people are more open to change than others, who can be downright resistant to change. So how do you introduce successful change initiatives into an organization that is comprised of individuals who may or may not be willing to accept change?
Pink Elephant’s Organizational Development Advisor, Robin Hysick provides the answers in her two-part webinar series on stakeholder engagement. Stakeholder Engagement Part 2: Using Effective Communication Techniques To Gain Buy In was broadcast on March 15, 2018. In this session, Robin presented communications strategies for engaging stakeholders and obtaining their buy in. She stressed the first step is to communicate with each respective stakeholder group and let them know ‘what’s in it for them’. She went on to explain how to ‘market the change’, which can help guide stakeholders to transition through the change process.
Stakeholder Engagement Part I: Defining The Stakeholders Affected By The Change Initiative was broadcast earlier in March. During this session, Robin described how to identify stakeholders and why engaging them is crucial to securing effective organizational change.
